Description
I am a frequently in the area and use the walk signal. This morning, for not the first time in a few months, someone runs the red light, and myself and the group of people that are waiting for the walk signal to turn on, are in grave danger.
I was wondering if maybe it was possible to put a delay on the walk signal in order to make it safer for both pedestrians and cyclists alike.

Or maybe use your eyes and ears before crossing the street? My 4 year old could give you a refresher...

That said, speeders and light blowers suck. But the police can't be everywhere at once. So....
Look out for YOURSELVES grownups. It's your job, first and foremost to secure your own safety.

If looking both ways before crossing the street is something a four year old knows, then why do you learn how to drive but still run red lights?
This isn't about me. Isn't that the point of posting about issues in the civic community? I'm worried that someone could get hurt or possibly killed and I want community members to know this is an issue before that happens.
Maybe you should teach your 4 year old to love thy neighbor.
