Maybe replacing it with a tree would be the best solution! :)

This side of the block has almost no trees (I think it's just one if I remember correctly). As the original post mentioned, there were previously more trees, but over time, the wells got filled in with concrete as the sidewalk got re-done (particularly toward the 6th street end.)

As there are no overhead power lines, it would be really great if we could re-fill the wells with trees once again. The neighboring block (Gore from Sciarappa to 5th St) is full of beautiful trees and it makes a huge difference in quality of life.

Public Works - DA (Inspections) assigned this issue to Public Works - DL (Forestry)

we need more trees along our streets. please plant many - here and elsewhere. and water them for more than 2 years if they need it.

patching was made on sidewalk. Forestry will need to schedule if trees can go in.
