This is a respectable company that has been here since the 70's and the city let's this trash stay and does nothing about it or the people dumping this trash. What will it take for businesses to leave and just turn Oakland into a big dump! Half way there Oakland.
This spot along with areas between 24 and 26 and wood are going to continue to be dumping zones as long as this city chooses to do nothing about the homeless encampments across the street . On going dumping for over a year . Same length of time that encampments have been able to settle in. I view as an enforcement issue at this point and want the city to post no overnight parking / camping signage or street sweeping signage posting street sweeping every other week to prevent this long term problem and ability to not have to move. These signs already exist throughout west Oakland.I'm beyond worrying where they will go because the stench and illegal activity that my business and employees have had to endure is way beyond the acceptance level anyone should have to put up with. Not to mention that encampment block the sidewalk ( public right away) and are off the curb out in some cases in the middle of the street . Public safety issue for both.
24/7 365 days a year. It's time Oakland gets a lawsuit or a demand letter, that city leaders refuse to clean up after the homeless. This is unhealthy, unsanitary, dangerous, and laws are not enforced. Getting tired already
