Description
The Stop Sign for Monument Lane approaching Old Lead Mine Road is not visible until you are almost on top of it, mostly hidden by vegetation, but it appears the sign should be moved closer to the intersection. The uphill line of sight also creates the illusion that there isn't an intersection ahead.
Section 2B.06 STOP Sign Placement
Standard:
The STOP sign shall be installed on the right side of the approach to which it applies. When the STOP sign is installed at this required location and the sign visibility is restricted, a Stop Ahead sign (see Section 2C.29) shall be installed in advance of the STOP sign.
The STOP sign shall be located as close as practical to the intersection it regulates, while optimizing its visibility to the road user it is intended to regulate.

and look right, in order to make a left turn onto Old Lead Mine Road, you CANNOT see to the right.
The hill is too high on the corner.
The front end of the car needs to go into the oncoming lane in order to see to the right.
Someone will get hit!
