I agree 100% that this needs to be removed. I also think the home owners should be held responsible and have to pay the cost of the removal process. This is a historic neighborhood and it is being ruined by graffiti all over a public street. This cant be legal? How can you paint a public road? Where does it stop?

They now have painted the road gray to covered up what was there yesterday. Like someone else said, this is a historic neighborhood and this is tacky. As of 9 pm 7-22 there is a boat in front of the house. The address for the house is 227 not 254.

Does the closing of this issue indicate that Macon-Bibb has no resources for removing permanent paint from the street? How about outsourcing for removal?

Graffiti on top of graffiti is not a solution. Proper removal should have been to use a power wash. In one years time you will see the original graffiti

How is it that this has not been addressed? The giant rectangle painted on the street is unsightly and defacement of city property. We are well beyond a month since this was reported.

A Public Works crew went out on 8/9/2016 at 7:40 a.m. to remove the graffiti, but a vehicle was in front of the area. Our office has tried contacting the reporter to ask if someone can move the vehicle.

Marvin, the resident at 227 Buford drives the black Cadillac Escalade, one son drives a green Regal and the other drives a gold Regal. Maybe taking a Deputy with the work crew might be the answer.
