Description

Over grown weeds that are 8 feet to 10 feet high. As this is a dead end street with vacant lots adjacent to the Broad Street Green Line, this has created an environment in which individuals use for illegal activities (e.g., drug use, alcohol use, prostitution, etc.). The individuals are now coming on to a property at 2947 Alcorn that is marked "No Trespassing" and conducting illegal and unsanitary activities(i.e., urinating and defecating on the premises). I have filed a complaint with the Tillman Street Police precinct but request that this concern be directed to the district City Council member and the Mayor's office to ensure that proactive policing and code enforcement be conducted to prevent this situation from escalating to vandalism, burglary, or potential assault (requiring self-defense).
