Tree cracked down the middle during sandy, hope it doesn't fall on someone or power lines

This tree is dangerously cracked up the middle. It's a hundred years old and HUGE. If it falls down, it's taking power lines, cars, and maybe some pieces of houses with it. It's on the city property, so the city needs to take it down or the city is LIABLE for all damage.
