The City is undertaking a comprehensive re-design and re-construction of Lower Broadway which will include all new traffic signals and timing sequences in addition to left turn lanes to improve the flow of traffic. In the short term the City is working with Wynn and its consultants to potentially make temporary changes to traffic signal timings during construction of the Wynn Resort. Thank you

Great.Thanks, something needs to happen sooner than later in both AM and PM. Bowdoin Street light is a super influence(r) in creating many of the problems. And the Bowdoin light triggers to let the side street out first with practically not wait when a car approaches. Makes no sense to anyone human - except the CE that implemented it.

While I appreciate your swift feedback, I think this needs to be prioritized as JUST this am, there was a traffic shift and 1 lane closed (inbound) for Wynn construction. AT EIGHT AM!!! At the height of rush hour traffic! Traffic was backed up all the way down Main Street in Everett to get onto Rt. 99. This is unacceptable.

Agreed. Morning road work is a big no no.

As Mr. Luongo stated the City is working with Wynn and its consultants to address the traffic concern during construction. The trip loop at Bowdoin St was repaired months ago and if timing needs to be addressed the decision will b e made by our transportation planner. I will communicate this to him.
