Now the weather is warmer there is a perpetual puddle with deep pot holes under this mess. HELLO out there, it must be a water main leak.

The Pot hole is now larger and in the middle of the road. It forces you into oncoming traffic on a tight curve in order to avoid severe damage to your car. It is a public hazard and very dangerous !!!!!

Guess there never going to fix this until someone get's killed!!!

They put up a sign saying rough pavement... guess that helps soothe their incompetence and supposed lack of manpower and money... someone will get injured because of these potholes...since you have to cross into the other lane to avoid them a head on collision is always an issue...

They ain't lying! Very bad for two years now and getting worse every time it rains and freezes in the winter. It won't go away by itself!

No money or manpower all the township committee cares about is brush and leaves and to hell you can't lay people off and get work done 35 men cannot handle a town this size!

The township tried to fix this problem before, I really think they need NJ American Water to look at it. That or public works needs to replace whatever pipe is down there. It seems like a constant slow leak.

Hey, they filled the main hole. I think they threw some black top in. Should take about a month and a few rain storms for it to come out again.

The problem is a natural spring that has pushed up through the deteriorated pavement. Today a DPW crew scraped off they old cold patch, refilled the pot holes and tried to relieve the pressure under the road by cutting a gutter line down the side of the road to the storm drain at the bottom of the hill. The temporary Rough Road sign and the reduced 25 MPH speed limit was implemented to alert drivers to slow down to a safe speed so as not to damage their vehicles. Also it is considered recless driving to cross into the oncoming lane to avoid a pot hole. In the event of an accident that driver would be liable.

Yep, saw that this morning. Typical shortcut for the town!

Is it possible that this is fixed? Only time will tell. Thank you.
