Description

For two consecutive years the Traffic Study Commission has received a report of vehicles disregarding the right turn only from the right lane of Emory Street inbound at Forest Street. One recommendation made in 2015 was that a sign be posted with appropriate wording warning of the right turn requirement ahead. It was recommended that this sign be posted at or before the curve at approximately 126 (128?) Emory Street. The existing Right Lane Must Turn Right sign is only about 150 feet before the center of the intersection and the warning at the curve regards only the traffic signal itself.
