Description

I needed three cars removed off the sidewalk this afternoon so I could weed trim along the cemetery wall then blow and pick up the debris. I called the Stoneham Police Dept the first time at 1:12pm to report the cars and asked for assistance. the dispatcher said no problem. I called a second time at 1:56pm and asked if there was a problem no cruiser has show and the dispatcher said right away. The third time I called at 2:08 and she told me all police officers were at a domestic and would be there when they were clear! All police officers at one call, this town needs more officers! I went about my work getting debris on the cars and walking into the dangerous street because no patrol car ever showed. Well I have to correct myself. On my way back to the DPW I decided to listen to the police channel to hear this big domestic and heard the dispatcher finally contact a cruiser at 2;30, who was filling up at the gas pumps in the DPW, and he told her to call Montvale Plaza because it was probably their customers, but no there was nothing go on there. Okay then call Cleveland Fence maybe it's their employees again and yes it was their employees. So I wanted to let you know that I did get my job done with many obstacles and the violators did not get tickets and Stoneham Police never had to answer my call!
