Cross walk signs faded and almost invisible at Valerie and Hillcroft, entire path at each cross street with Hillcroft between Beechnut and Bissonnet should be repainted as markings are faded or missing and this is a high pedestrian traffic area due to the many schools and major bus routes, see photo.

Work Order Completed in Infor by 155242 on 2016-07-13T08:55:29.000-05:00 with comments - OBSERVATIONS: A field investigation for faded crosswalk lines & Stop Bar was conducted on 7/6/2016 at 3:25PM at Valarie and Hillcroft. The investigation found Valarie an (E&W) bound street that (WB) Stop sign controlled T-intersects into uncontrolled Hillcroft within a school zone in the area. No Stop Bar or crosswalk lines were found in the field however faded & broken white button markings were found that need to be renewed with new painted lines applied over the old white buttons. Paint shop confirmed no Crosswalk or Stop Bar markings not in records for this location. Requester contacted by E-mail.
RECOMMENDATIONS: A (WO) for the paint shop has been written to install 24-inch Stop Bar and crosswalk lines for 6200 Valarie westbound approach at 7800 Hillcroft applied over old white button markers.
