From Alice to Lakeside on 17th street there is a scooter/motorcycle parking problem. There should be a specific spot made for at least 4 spaces dedicated to scooters/motorcycles (with sign or paint) somewhere in vicinity of madison and 17th or jackson and 17th. Motorcycles and scooters are constantly parking along 17th here by themselves and causes inefficiencies in street parking for cars - many times 2 car size spots are taken up by 2 motorcycles. Parking would be aided if there was a visible spot dedicated to scooter/motorcycle parking. It would be best to make a street corner area or a already yellow or red zone a motorcycle parking only zone so to not reduce car parking. This neighborhood over the past year has seen a growth in the number of cars parking on the street so anything can help.
