Got a prior response that County could not clean out ditch because it belongs to resident. The property on either side of the ditch is owned by resident, but the ditch is an easement of City now County. The City of Macon has cleaned out the ditch for more than 20 years, and it is in need of being cleaned out again. Water flows into the ditch from multiple properties including the street. Now that the ditch is filled with debris and overgrowth, rainwater stands in the yards and the streets. It is also causing erosion issues. Please have someone contact me regarding the plot research.
