Then it is not closed... it is absurd that a traffic stop sign is not even considered for this intersection at Anthony Street and Bowery Street! Cars speed up and down these streets and barely stop at the intersection because there is no stop sign! Do you want to get people injured or killed?? Many children live on this street. I suggest you do whatever it takes to get this process in motion, Newport needs to get with it and be more pedestrian friendly, or it will sink lower into the category of a place no one will want to live. We will start a petition in Newport to get these things done if the authorities just cover it in bureaucracy. And fix the broken pedestrian walk signs at Bellevue Avenue & Narragansett - it's an accident waiting to happen! - FIX IT! - this will be shared on social media, FYI
