I'm convinced that the meter people must get a signal when time on the ParkMobile app is about to run out. In this case I can't understand why your appeal was declined. A few days ago, I got a ticket for being three minutes over. If ParkMobile's clock "doesn't show up" on the meter, I'm just about ready to ditch the app and go back to using coins.

Local Guy, I encourage you to follow the steps as outlined in your appeal response letter where you'll read "You may contest violation liability before a Parking Violation Hearing Officer by delivering written notice within 12 days of this letter, in person or by mail to the address above. A hearing date will be sent to you under separate cover no more than 30 days before the scheduled date.". Please have your license plate or citation number ready when you call. Frequently, license plates are entered incorrectly in the ParkMobile app, or a different vehicle than the one which is usually used is being driven and thus the payment doesn't show up for the officer as the technology is license plate based. Please double check this information in your ParkMobile app, and/or give us a call so we can find out what happened.

All of my info including parking space, plate #, and time were valid. I submitted the online appeal and was still denied. I already waste a good portion of my work day trying to avoid parking tickets now i need to waste more. I am often in the position of having to excuse myself in the midst of interactions with customers or suppliers to go move my vehicle or even more rudely jump on my phone to extend a session. I was looking into opening a second location but will definitely be looking outside of New Haven at this point. No wonder it is so hard to get people from out of town to come visit the city.

You've reopened this issue, but unless you would prefer providing us with a license plate number or a citation number in the comments of SCF you're offering us no opportunity to fulfill the third part of this websites name and fix this issue. This leaves us with an unsubstantiated complaint regarding an erroneous ticket that we are unable to research on your behalf. I understand that you're frustrated and that no one likes getting parking tickets, however I fail to understand what steps you expect us to take outside of closing this issue without assisting us in doing so. I believe the intended purpose of See Click Fix is bridging the community and municipal government so the two can have a clear and direct dialogue in a public forum with the end result being the two constructively working together to solve problems.
