Thank you for reporting your concern to City of Cambridge via Commonwealth Connect. We have reviewed the information you provided our staff and will be investigating this issue further.
* Eversource Gas already aware of the trench/Patch and has it scheduled for this year.

Eversource contractor replaced new granite crosswalk, concrete sidewalk sections, and street surface with low quality asphalt that was smoothed by hand with shovel. Allowing shoddy patching is a waste of taxpayer dollars -- especially on a newly repaired street.
