OH Hey ! Those are my long lost keys to my '65 Pontiac..

Villa,,, I'm sure they are my keys.. I dropped them. (This is the risk of publishing lost things and volunteering to return them to the owner.. there is a high probability of multiple 'owners' making claims to useful items)

Well, it's obviously not the key to a '65 Pontiac. If someone wants to make a genuine claim to this straggler key, which isn't on a chain (and neither was the one I found on Canner a few days ago, which WAS returned to its rightful owner, by the way), please indicate as such. Otherwise I'm going to throw the thing in recycling, frankly, because I have enough keys of my own to keep track of without being burdened with other folks' flotsam and jetsam. I was just trying to be a nice person. Which doesn't come naturally. So.

it is interesting to me that two straggler keys found in the same vicinity within a short period of time.

I repeat that , instead of throwing it in the recycling, you turn it in to the police lost and found.

I'm sure you would not consider your own key as 'flotsam and jetsam'. I can see that being a nice person does not come naturally. to be honest I struggle with that too.. The Golden Rule helps me.

If you soon find a third such key, please, definitely turn it into the police.

Neighbor, I am in fact 100% sure that the other key went to its rightful owner, because helpful neighbors who I already know personally helped me return the key to him. I had kind of thought that such a thing might happen again. Evidently, no such luck.
