This intersection is crazy dangersous!!! People who are coming down the street from the direction of Independence Avenue come up to this interesection in front of the Fairchild Building. They are usually going very fast . When the light changes to red, they often go through the light onto South Capital Street. The Capitol Police are right there and do not seem to have any enforcement capability. DC Metropolitan Police need to set up stoplight traps at that intersection during morning rush hour. I have seen a lot of near misses.
