Request for permit parking in the Oakland/Lake Merritt neighborhoods. The amount of nonresidents parking in residential streets is unacceptable. Nonresidents usually work on Broadway or Grand and park in the Adam's Point neighborhoods, making it so actual residents can't even park within 2 blocks of their own homes. This is an active risk to any person walking alone multiple blocks from their car to their home at night.
