There was none of this sidewalk crying going on in 1985. I pay my annual $25 to keep your sidewalks maintained. The only person that walks our street are the mail carriers, and in my 31 years of residence here there has not been one mail carrier that complained. They are free and welcome to take a shortcut across my lawn. In fact, they would have farther to walk if I HAD SIDEWALKS and I forbid them to walk on my lawn. If you bought a house with a sidewalk, LIVE WITH IT. I'll live with what I bought.
