Description

This intersection is NOT SAFE to cross. While there is a 4-way stop enforced, many drivers just stop & go or roll through the intersection without properly stopping their car.

On numerous occasions I got nearly run over, each time I was in the middle of a cross walk when drivers did not pay attention and just went through forcing me to 'run for cover' or quickly backup. One time I was crossing with a large dog, one time I was with a stroller, on another occasion a driver bumped into my stroller with a small child in it - the lady claimed that she did not see the stroller in the afternoon sun. This morning a driver just drove; had I not stopped she'd run me over - she only noticed me standing right next to her car window.

There are many children who cross this intersection on daily basis on their way to & from Susan B. Anthony Elementary.

In-pavement flashers should be considered!!!!!!!!!!!
