Thanks for your suggestion. Water fountains affixed to buildings are prone to damage. There is a brand new water fountain a short walk away by the gazebo complete with water bottle filling capacity.
The distance to that fountain feels pretty far when you need to stop every 10 minutes in the heat for water. If it's possible to do something by the skatepark it would be great. Or we could get concrete instead of an asphalt surface and we'd all expend less energy :)
Update: Thanks to the advocacy of the Skate Park Crew, especially Ben Berkowitz the RWA has donated a new stand alone fountain that is on order and will be installed by early summer. Like the new fountain at the gazebo this will be complete with bottle filler and a dog bowl.
I was wondering how word of our exploits had gotten to TTP 😂. Thanks for updating here. We’re all super excited for the fountain. Thanks to Parks for helping with the plumbing and also taking down the old fence.
