That is true, I have a three year old and she is never allowed to leave the yard without holding my hand, I park over there. I am still petrified of her falling off this cliff, but I understand its not all about me and my kid, I know its a parents responsibility to keep their own child safe. But it is up to the town to fix this. The rest of this road has this wire fence in decent condition, the town ruined it when they cut down the trees (which looks nice). It should be fixed because it is a serious drop down to a main road below. I'm not talking about a 5 foot drop, Im talking more of a 20 foot drop and landing right on 34. A car could even lose control especially in the winter and there is no protection. Could you imagine driving down 34 and a car lands on top of you? Its either take the whole thing down or fix this section of the rail...Im sure they would choose to not take the rail down because it would be unsafe, so why is this such a problem to be fixed?

I agree that children shouldn't play in the street, however they have a guard rail there for a reason, and they broke it. so either they take the guardrail down for the entire road or they fix this section. Im sure it would be more cost effective to fix the section...im sorry but it is a nice drop and its the steepest part of the whole road
