The Entrance into Rock creek park H-3 stable has a pedestrian traffic and the only way to cross at stop sign on the intersection of Oregon avenue & Northampton street ! this sign is a constantly being disregarded !! a rolling stop or sped right through at night and afternoons Very Dangerous !!!This Stop sign constantly being run through with 40+ mph , coming around a blindside Bend in road !!!The has been Numerous requests for a speed camera to replace a inconsistent 2nd district MPD presence in 201PSA , in 2014 there was a camera this was extremely helpful so helpful it was vandalized by drivers who wanted to speed through to east west highway 401 & toward Bethesda MD .... so after many complaints to 2nd district & Ward4 Brandon todd and 2.5 years later still no replacement !! Now with weather breaking the traffic is always running the stop sign but more frequently now even there no one monitoring the crosswalk into rock creek park has children crossing into the park .I have seen cars running at 65mph can we do something DC Government DDOT, MPD,OAH,OAG, please BRING the camera back to this location !!!
