Well, this has to be the stupidest response ever. Of course the truck is not there anymore, if you are only checking back five days later. What good is this system then?

I think if you search your database, you'll see a pattern of violations at this construction site. Perhaps someone should complain to the construction manager, or traffic control could patrol that area more frequently.

Pointing residents of the city to 311 as a way to address these kinds of violation is useless if you refuse to do any actual enforcement work. It's an elaborate way to make us waste our time and pretend you did something while doing exactly nothing useful. But that's fine, we'll just have to let our city council and mayor know what a great job you're not doing.

Also pro tip to the concerned citizens who actually try to make the city a better place, if you mark it as a parking violation they'll actually come by and check it within an hour or two most days. If you mark it as bike lane or sidewalk they'll ignore it for a week or even a month sometimes. So always make it a parking issue or they won't do a thing.
