This intersection has considerable dips in the shoulders that make it difficult for larger vehicles to negotiate especially when traveling east on Washington and turning south on Rowland. There is a large rise in Washington Street which can throw a vehicle traveling north on Rowland and crossing onto Petrified Seas Gardens Road.
