Description

I had a question about High street approaching Otis going Westbound. There is a "keep clear" box on the left side of the lane. This vaguely implies that there might be two lanes....or maybe not. It's not very clear. Does one way high st become two lanes there, with the leftmost lane the only lane where one would turn left onto Otis from? Or is the "keep clear" just ensuring that the street, still being one lane, one should not stop their car in that section, but still could stop to the right of the keep clear, and turn left when the light is green. Hope this makes sense, please refer to the image below. Whatever the case may be, could the city make the striping more clear what should occur here? If it's one lane then the keep clear should be wider? if it's two then a sign and striping indicating that the right lane is straight or right turn only? thanks
