It is not possible because of the cost and labor to install speed bumps on Myrtle St. It would be helpful if if you could provide more information as to the time of day, day of week this is occuring. Also any description of the motor vehicles/motorcycles (color, style,) involved would be helpful.

Sgt.Carroll this is not the answer that I was expecting , also this is a public safety issue, I hope my grandchildren or myself DONT get hit by any car or motorcycle flying down this street the wrong way either. I am not on the city of Medfords payroll to police the street. Thank you

I'm sorry this was not the answer you expected unfortunately it is not practicable nor do we have the resources or ability to assign an officer full-time to what is a small residential street with a sporadic problem with the many other similiar problems and workload the police dept. has elsewhere. As stated earlier unless you can assist us in identifying at least when the problem occurs can we help you. Many times we find its one or two sometimes local residents themselves that are creating the problem. Naturally if a caller could assist us in identifying if possible whose causing the problem it would assist us in dealing with it.
