2 weeks ago a new water line was installed at the fire dept. across the street from my house at 36 Main St. (CT route 286). The cover on the valve pipe is an inch or 2 below the street level. Every time a car or truck hits that cover it shakes my house, not to mention what it's doing to the water line.
