Deleware Ave from Providence Place to Holland Ave is ALWAYS lined with litter as has been reported several times. The upper part of Deleware get vacuumed and carefully sweep not this section. McDonald's trash, trash from slops who live at 109 to 113 Deleware.

I have reported illegal trash littered along the street at those addresses on delaware (it's never contained properly) but the inspector always seems to go out on trash day, after it has been collected so no violations are found. Albany needs a litter abatement plan. Ive advocated for it for years. And here we are.

It's seems to me "code inforcement " is uneven throughout the city, this would never happen in Center Square, Whitehall neighborhood, New
Scotlnd Ave area. Just drove by that part of Deleware as usual litter everywhere . Maybe we would get real results if we called the mayors office

The Mayor does have a radio show and it may be worth a call. Really, DGS could take it upon themselves to devwlop a litter abatement plan. Several cities have them in place. As citizens, we shouodnt have to take simple quality of life issues all the way to city hall. DGS can and should show some leadership on this one. Every neighborhood, regardless of median income, should be clean and livable. Every resident deserves that. The filth is demoralizing. But hey, if you want to put together a laundry liat of items that need attensing to and then put a call into the Mayor, I'm all in. Thanks for commenting.
