Description
Green right turning signal light for drivers heading northbound on Dykes RD on the right turning lane getting ready to turn East onto Sheridan needs to remain green for an extra 10 seconds. Peak hours begin about 6:45am I guess until about 9am. This lane backs up too much and tends to block in residents trying to exit from Towngate. Thanks

Our review of northbound right turn movement at Dykes Road indicated that it received average 40 seconds green time during morning peak hours, in addition to the extra overlap time with the westbound left turn movement. The root cause of the issue is the eastbound traffic congestion on Sheridan Drive, which is related to the FDOT construction activities at intersections of Coquina Plaza and I-75 ramps. We will contact responsible party of FDOT to see if adjustment can be made on their side to provide certain relief. Thanks again for passing on the concern.
