Description

The alley that runs between Devonshire Road and Stonewall Avenue behind and parallel to the 1504 West 45th St. has at least two large potholes exceeding six feet in length and several inches deep. Given the Health Department's emphasis on elimination of mosquito breeding grounds hoping to reduce the incidence of the Zika virus, the large persistently water-filled potholes impose an immeidate health risk. The need to be filled with sufficient large gravel so that the heavy trash and recycling trucks will not re-create them in the perpetually soft surface beneath the thin, small gravel surface.
