Description

There is significant street damage, multiple pot holes and uneven street surfaces at the intersection of Dukes Street and Sandford Avenue. The local residents have been attempting to call the Kearny Road Repair Hotline at 201-955-7889 for over a year now with no response. The heavy 18 wheeler truck traffic and other large vehicle traffic is causing significant damage to multiple homes in the local area from impact shockwave every time a large vehicle strikes the pot holes and uneven street surface, which is pretty constant throughout the day. Every large vehicle impact on the pot holes and uneven street surfaces not only causes large audio booms that can be heard in the surrounding area but also causes miniature earthquake-like vibrations that causes our homes to shake violently and is causing significant floor, wall and ceiling damage. The local residents would appreciate if the street was fixed to prevent further damage to our homes.
