It has come to my attention that drug deals are becoming more and more prevalent in the shopping centers and neighborhoods in the 92879 area code of Corona. It is unacceptable that drug dealers are openly exchanging drugs in broad daylight in front of children and residents such as myself. I saw a drug exchange at 10:00am this morning, while I was walking my dogs with my children on McKinley toward Hidden Valley Parkway at 4:00pm. today I witnessed A male individual walk right in front of my car while I was at a stop sign. I had to wait as he sold drugs to a woman in an old vehicle that didn't have a license plate. This happens all the time in this area. I have lived here for 11 years and the drug dealers are worse than ever. It is unfortunate that people like myself are feeling unsafe in their homes and when shopping in the Von's/Walmart shopping center and the shopping center right across McKinley where the Cigar shop is located. I appreciate the police cars that are patrolling the area more frequently but how many of these dealers and users are actually being arrested and prosecuted. I love Corona but the crime is getting out of control.
