Description

Hello my name is Elizabeth Lauderdale and I am writting in regards to my 8 month old son. My fiance and I took him to the ER yesterday morning because we thought he had blood in his stools. They tested it it came back negative but they found another problem with him. His colon was inside out. So after we found that out the ER nurse took us back to the radiology waiting room. When it was my sons turn to go in the male nurse came out and got rude with us asking us why we were not with a nurse. We explained to him that they told us to wait for him.So he took him out of our arms and into his care. A few minutes later I heard a big thud.I thought to my self that better of not been my son.Sure enough ten minutes later the doctor comes out and says I have something to tell you. I said what he fell didnt he. She said yes.I started balling. That was my 8 month old son who just fell. The doctors told me nobody knows what really happened but all they know is that the male doctor placed him on a table that was a good 4 to 41/2 feet off the ground and turned his back and he fell. After they did what they did they did a cat scan on him and found nothing. But who is to say that nothing will happen three days from now a month or even later. All I know is that I am really upset because the hospital is doing nothing about it. I need some help to see what I can do. Thats my sons life that we trusted in a doctors care and it failed. Like everybody is saying if that would of happened at home the hospital would of called Child Protective Service on us but yet it happend at the hospital and nothing can be done. you can reach me at 785-273-3164 for more information if needed. PLEASE HELP US.
