5-17-16 Now that they have paved, there are more speeders than ever on Tanner Rd!! I fear for my kids lives the way these cars blow past from 50 to near 100... IN A 35!!!!! I have done the calculations using distance and time. On many, MANY occasions, people are jeopardizing the lives of my family and others as they try and pass regardless of oncoming traffic or double yellow line. Several accidents, a death, and many lives jeopardized. Clifton Park needs to get their act together before more lives are lost. With the casino coming in soon, I fear this will only get worse as time goes on. MAKE TANNER ROAD A DEAD END!! If Clifton Park just put up a guardrail on the Rt. 146 end, it would stop all of the speeders and allow the residents in this community to live in piece, and without fear of a car or dump truck crashing through your yard and killing your child. The little trailer radar speed limit sign works when it's there, but is only a temporary solution to a permanent problem. SEVERAL permanent ones in both directions would be needed to keep speeders at bay. I don't believe that's as cost effective as just putting up a guardrail. MAKE TANNER RD A DEAD END AT RT 146!!!
