Description

The sidewalk on the west side of Broadway between 30th and Hawthorne and the mid-block crosswalk had finally been reopened after completion of the Sprouts grocery development, but it is now closed once again along the upper half of this block for a separate development construction project at the NW side of this block, including the recently upgraded mid-block crosswalk. There is signage directing pedestrians to cross the street at each corner, but the closure is very inconvenient for this long block and many people are choosing to walk in the street (as shown).

I assume that this will be a long-term sidewalk closure throughout the construction process, so in the meantime please convert the rightmost southbound travel lane into a one-way bicycle and two-way pedestrian path, to ensure that safe and convenient access is available for all modes.
