Description
The ROW has grass and weeds 3 feet high again.
No one has mowed all summer, or Spring for that matter.
The whole ROW from Laurel to air strip needs to be mowed again.

The weeds and grass are now 8 feet high and once again small trees have grown just since the spring to over 12 ft in height
Since the new company bought out Texas Eastern the maintenance has been sparse and infrequent on the right of way
I see the airstrip does mow their property but no one takes care of the right-of-way between the airstrip and Laurel Run
It is impossible to see anything from the ground or from the air with this much vegetation
I would recommend using the ground clear sprayer that the highway department uses to eradicate the vegetation along this stretch of the right of way
It would allow for only needing one application in the spring

They mowed a few weeks ago. most of the time no one ever comes to do any caretaking on the right of way. I did see a guy about a week ago who was surveying something
It would be nice if they kept this clear all year long so that we could keep an eye on it and make sure no one was messing around
In the spring the weeds grow so tall that deer can be in the right of way and you cannot see them at all
I think the new company that purchased the pipeline should install cameras 2 monitor sections like this that are heavily overgrown
I know they monitor the pressure to make sure that there's no leaks but people hunt in this right of way and I know they're not supposed to be shooting there but they do constantly
I think if they spent a little bit of money and put up telephone poles or light poles with cameras and signs letting people know it was monitored people would stop messing around on these right-of-ways
CP Rail installed cameras further trestles because people kept getting hurt and since they installed the cameras they have not had any further incidents
Having cameras that send live feeds to the mean control center would be a really good idea along the entire pipeline
We need to protect this critical infrastructure and it's everyone's job but the company that owns it should do as much as they can and a little bit of money spent on cameras will be well worth the investment in the long run
