Description
Just before the Ramapo & Clarkstown border (ON THE RAMAPO SIDE) is a sunken storm drain grate that has been there for DECADES! It is a problem year-round, is on a blind hill coming around a semi-blind turn, so residents not familiar with it's location cannot avoid it...it's a rim-bender and forces eastbound traffic on Concklin Rd to cross over the double yellow line to avoid - c'mon Ramapo get it together and fix this mess once and for all!

two days after this was posted another "attempt" at repairing this grate was made, but over the course of this week, the patchwork substrate around the grate has again sunken below the height of the grate (also below the height of the existing grade of the road). I don't know if it's just as bad as it was or worse. I will never understand the insisitence of making these useless "BAND-AID" repairs.
If money was going to fix the DRAINAGE problems in this town I wouldn't be half as upset, now we are getting a ball park 1 mile away? GET A CLUE RAMAPO AND GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT.
