Description

El Bohio, a bar at 4 Market Street in Passaic, plays music on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday nights that is so loud it's woken us up on the other side of the bridge in Wallington. The police are called regularly, in hopes that they'll at least turn it down or keep the door closed, but nothing works. Their patrons also wake us with drunken screaming as they walk past on Wallington Avenue. I'm all for small businesses, but this place is out of control, and I was recently told that the police can do nothing about it but drive by and make sure their windows and door are closed. In the meantime, no one gets a good night's sleep since every patron entering or exiting the premises unleashes a roar of heavy drumming. How many times a night should anyone have to call the cops?
