Thank you for contacting the Property Maintenance Code Enforcement Division for the City of Richmond. Based on the information you provided we have assigned a Code Enforcement Inspector to go to the location and inspect the property for any and all code violations.
The Property Maintenance Code Enforcement Inspector has indicated in the case file, that the reported issue(s) has/have been corrected to meet code regulations. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
Thank you for your update on the status of this property. The inspector will investigate your claims and issue a notice of violation for any code violations that are found. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience in the resolve of this matter.
This is NOT resolved. There are still broken window, peeling paint, over grown lot. The only thing that was done was SOME of the weeds in the front area were cut; not even all the weeds were cut. The property was cited by code enforcement, why is something not being done such as board up the building and abate the weed problem, with a bill to the owners.
This case is currently open and being worked by the area inspector. The broken windows do not fit the description of an open and vacant property, therefore, this ticket must be closed within scf. The other property maintenance issues will continue to be worked. Please feel free to contact us at 804-646-6398 for further information and processing of the remaining issues. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in the closing of this open and vacant case.
