Description

BLOOR ST EAST AND WESTBOUND. almost anytime 8am to 7pm daily
The sidewalk gardens are wonderful !
SOME VEHICLES HAVE AN EXEMPTION TO STOP AND WORK IN THIS NO STOPPING, NO PARKING ZONE.
WATERING AND TENDING THE SIDEWALK GARDENS, TTC TRUCKS, BRINKS, CANADA POST.
THE RESULT IS WELL KNOWN ACROSS THE CITY. ONE VEHICLE CAN BACK UP TRAFFIC FLOW FOR MILES.
ENFORCEMENT NEEDS TO BE RELENTLESS WITH TOWING.
OBSERVE KING STREET WEST AT YONGE TO UNIVSERITY EVERY DAY 11:30 AM TO 1:30 PM
BRINGING WATER IN TRUCKS TO BLOOR ST. !!??
CAN THE BIA ARRANGE ACCESS TO WATER FROM THE FRONT OF BUILDINGS OR FIRE HYDRANTS ALONG THIS ROUTE ? AND USE HOSES.
STARTING WITH A NO EXCEPTION RULE, FOR EACH REASON to GIVE A VEHICLE AN EXEMPTION - THERE NEEDS TO BE AN ALTERNATIVE. in some cases it may be to park on the sidewalk. this was done a the police stn Dundas west of University. 1 suggestion - Early morning delivery before 7:30 am / create a meaningful financial incentive for business and delivery companies to receive early or evening deliveries . ie. free parking 5am -7am /after 8pm
