Good Afternoon,
This is in response to your report of the water leak and the broken sidewalk on Roswell Road. The address that came through for the water leak on SeeClickFix does not match the picture of the leak, so I just want to confirm that the leak is near the BB&T Bank.
With regards to the sidewalk, because there is a water leak at this location, we cannot repair the sidewalk until the leak has been repaired. With that said, the City of Atlanta (COA) has jurisdiction for the water infrastructure in the City of Sandy Springs. We have reported both of these water leaks to the City of Atlanta.
In the event that you would like to report these leaks as well, below is the contact information for reporting water meter leaks to the City of Atlanta. When reporting the leak, be sure to get a ticket number and to reference this number each time you contact COA about the leak.
To report a leaking or damaged water meter, please call the Department of Watershed Management Customer Service at 404-546-0311, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following is the link to the City of Atlanta website, regarding report of leaking or broken water meters: http://www.atl311.com/?page_id=115&atlId=1-4NTBC&_crauth=85ac1e5a03
Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Cheryl Oslund
