The bag was yard trash. It was already picked up on the following collected day. Why send it to court?

Because the ordinance does not allow trash to be at the curb prior to 6:00 pm the night before the scheduled pickup day.

There was a previous case that a warning was left on the door. The date of the warning was 3/18/16, and the case number is 2322886.
