Too many people are too afraid or naive to acknowledge this growing scourge in our community. These parasites will never work or contribute to society in any way. They are drug addicts, drunks and prostitutes that steal from hard working families, buy or "barter" for drugs and alcohol, pollute the area with feces, vomit, used needles, used condoms and piles of trash, and line up for free food at the local naive charities so they can start the whole cycle over again day in and day out. Our cars have been broken into so many times I've lost count. Our personal business on Fair Oaks Blvd. has been burglerized and vandalized. The homeless and addicts hang out and deter customers from doing business. Many of our customers have said they did not stop to shop because this disgusting element intimidated them. This must stop.
What is the plan? Why are the churches allowed to keep these strays coming back for hand outs?
If the homeless and addict "advocates" care so much for these people why don't they welcome them into their own homes, yards and businesses? Instead they contribute to this totally unacceptable and irresponsible invasion. They nourish and protect this vulgar disease. What kind of phony government do we have that let's our very hard work get so disrespected. I'm ashamed of our legal system and regret nearly every dollar I waste sending to them. Funny how I'm the bad guy if I'm two seconds late paying my taxes. I'm so disappointed.
I admire your candid response and I agree. It's refreshing to see others who feel as I do. I have also read that local churches are offering free meals to the homeless. How can we stop this? I know that it makes people feel good to help a cause but I do not believe it helps in this neighborhood. This is a good neighborhood which does not value having transients around and sleeping at storefronts and hanging out on stree corners, which I guess is now not legal. I just don't understand why the sherriff dept cannot move these people from where they are squatting, panhandling. I see carts left in various places with no one near, homeless camps in our Carmichael parks and at vacant storefronts, and panhandlers at several intersections. It's not getting any better!!

The TED folks should at least go out and tag the belongings for removal. To simply ignore this complaint is wrong and unacceptable. We pay our taxes to have these exact issues handled in a prompt and complete manner. We deserve better service from our government. Please reopen this case and get it addressed. Why do you need more than an address and photo?
The County's arguement is invalid! I always tag my location on my photos. I took this photo about 5 days in a row when I was at the gym. Also, my reports always include my name/initials. If they need more specific information this should be part of the 311 system. Why is that necessary anyway. A complaint is a complaint. We are tired of the blight these transients bring to our neighborhood.
