View of the back of 1334/1336 Versailles Ave from neighbor window... doesn't collapsing building sides or car parts strewn along side, or dismantled cars out of camera view. This happens when city codes aren't enforced.

Please leave this open. This landlord is the worse nightmare for a neighborhood. The city inspector came out, but the only "clean-up" the slumlord did was throw a couple tarps over some of the junk. Inspector told him he was in violation with the junk vehicles, lumber and debris. Hopefully something will come of this but in the past the landlord just stalls and nothing gets done. We do appreciate the inspection. The lady with the kids living next to the barn did tell the slumlord that rats were coming out of the dilapidated building and that she was concerned about the huge dead tree falling down on her place. He just made excuses. Please keep at him. Thanks

Three months have passed since this issue was opened and two months since the city inspector declared this dump was in violation (again), yet nothing has changed (unless you count the slumlord bringing in more trash). The family renting adjacent to the collapsing barn, huge dead tree, junk cars, rats etc moved a few days ago. These were neighbors (not the landlord tenants) that had spoken to the 1336/1334 owner (who lives in Alameda, not far away) about the conditions on his property. City codes are enacted to protect all that live here. This landlord owns other properties with similar dumps but this one has the most egregious violations that threaten the health and safety of neighbors. Where is the fire code enforcement; where is the junk car(cars, 5 dismantled on the property with parts laying everywhere) enforcement? Please fix this now and don't let this guy skate again.

We are now over six months since this code enforcement issue was opened and almost five months since code enforcement cited the landlord "In violation" for "HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SUBSTANDARD HOUSING". Officer Hinson has been emailed twice for status with no response. Understandable since the landlord has done nothing except bring more garbage over from his Pearl Street house and rentals a couple blocks away to add to the unsanitary and hazardous dump here.

What can we do to help? Would it help if we open more issues with code enforcement?

Officer Hinson told the landlord that a copy of the report would be turned over to the police department to handle the junk cars. Are they coming out or does another complaint needs to be open as well as one with the fire department to handle the huge dead tree, dilapidated building and trash?

The city doing nothing has just emboldened him and make it worse for his neighbor's safety and health.

The neighbors at 1107 Broadway (http://seeclickfix.com/issues/2189591-code-enforcement ) were finally able to get that dump and fire hazard cleaned up with the aid of an Officer Smith. Any chance of enlisting him in this effort?

9 months since this dump and fire hazard was reported then cited for "HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SUBSTANDARD HOUSING" conditions. Nothing has been done, except the landlord/hoarder SW that lives just a block away on Pearl Street (his properties there also cited), moved one of his junk vehicles in the last off-street parking place for his duplex rentals. Not that we needed more cars on the street. The roof on the barn is collapsing and the smell of the dump is getting bad. Where is the "enforcement"? Aren't multi-dwelling rentals held to any standards?

Ten months have passed and the only changes have been are the landlord Sieg has brought over a refrigerator, oil drums and other trash from his Pearl Street home. Understanding that hoarding is an illness, however the neighborhood should not be threatened with health, safety and fire dangers because of a lack of city code enforcement. This item was opened 11 months ago and the property was cited as "HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SUBSTANDARD HOUSING" a month later after code enforcement inspection. Between then and now the landlord Sieg who lives on Pearl Street did nothing except bring over more trash (refrig, oil drums) consequently the property just became a worse hazard if that was even possible. We're disappointed that the City allows this risk to residents to continue. We hope that reducing the visibility on See, Click, Fix (there was no "Fix") won't just let the issue drop until a catastrophic incident injuring neighbors.
