I don't think there is any law saying that you cannot drive in the left lane except for passing. It is common courtosy but other than that you have to share the road with every one else. So relax, don't get upset, drive safe and enjoy the drive.

Highway traffic Act says "When about to be overtaken on the left by another person or vehicle using the
highway, a driver of a vehicle on a highway shall keep to the right". So, get your backside out of the left lane. It is a common courtesy and quite frankly, just because we're in Saskatchewan doesn't mean we need to drive like uneducated hicks. Keep left except to pass should be enforced just like it is in most US States and continental Europe.

Actually both are driving lanes - a twin highway is not the same as a passing lane. When passing it is unlawful to go beyond the posted speed limit. However on a twin highway the slower traffic is to keep right unless turning left.

Slower traffic keep right! the left lane is for faster traffic not only for passing. I think there are larger issues in PA for us to be worrying about. PS. going over the speed limit to pass is illegal.

do what i do when this happns i split them up the middle lol the look on both the other drivers faces are well worth it.i really like doing this when the people who have purchashed larger trucks or suv's and drive slow beacause they cannot not afford the gas prices

I love how everyone becomes armchair experts in these forums. Whether or not it's a law, why can we not be courteous and allow those who want to travel faster to do so. And the one who comments on why don't you just drive the speed limit....really? Show me even one vehicle on the highway that travels at the actual speed limit. Most people are pretty good at pulling to the right but there's always going to be that one driver who thinks he/she owns the road and the rest of the world should just have to wait..... :)
