Community Development will assign an inspector to check the property for violations of the grass and weed ordinance. This ordinance only requires the cutting of grass or weeds over 8 inches in height and consume an abundance of the yard. We cannot require the trimming of bushes, shrubs, bamboo, ornamentals, ivy or trees. Thank you for contacting us

Community Development’s Inspector has checked this property and will be notifying the owner(s) / occupant(s) that they are in violation of the City's Grass and Weed Ordinance. They did not cut ALL of the grass. There's still a very unsightly area in the back yard that is easily seen from the road.

We will re-inspect upon the final date of the notice, if found not to be in compliance with this ordinance, other action will be taken to resolve this issue
