Description

The timing for this intersection appears to have been set recently so that there is a significantly longer delay for traffic on Canner Street. At some times of day west-to-east traffic can back up as far as Saint Ronan Street, particularly because Canner is narrow enough that left turners (of whom there are quite a few) often prevent others from proceeding across the intersection. This signal, apparently differently from other signals along Whitney, responds only slowly to Canner street arrivals when there is not much traffic on Whitney. Please review the traffic flow and signal timings.
